Shawn Li is an industry expert in telecommunications, global connectivity management, and eSIM technology, with over 20 years of experience focusing on 4G/5G Internet of Vehicles (IoV) solutions.

From 2008 to 2015, he served as a Solution Expert at Ericsson (China). In 2015, he co-founded Gotell and served as its CTO, leading its technical innovation until it was acquired by Wanma Technology through Yoocar Technology in 2021.

An active contributor to global telecommunications standards, Mr. Li helps shape core technical specifications at major industry organizations, including GSMA, CCSA, and TAF, particularly advancing the SGP.32 eSIM standard. He holds multiple patents in IoV-related technologies. Additionally, as an ITIL-certified Data Protection Officer (DPO), he provides critical expertise in data privacy and cross-border compliance for global OEMs.

Mr. Li holds an Executive MBA from CEIBS, alongside a Master’s degree in Electronic and Communication Engineering and a Bachelor’s degree in Production Process Automation from Shanghai Jiao Tong University.
