In 2025, a delegationfrom UAE leading telecommunications and technology group Etisalat by e&(hereinafter referred to as "Etisalat") visited the Shanghai headquarters of Yoocar Technology. The two parties conducted in-depth deliberations covering compliance services for connected vehicles in the MiddleEast and AI-driven intelligent driving technology innovation. We reached astrategic consensus on deepening collaboration, with the goal of delivering end-to-end support for Chinese automakers expanding their presence in GCC markets.
Etisalat presented toYoocar Technology its full suite of network, platform and service capabilities across the GCC region, with a specific focus on the UAE market, and under scored the regulatory requirements governing the compliant operation of connected vehicle services in the local UAE market. Under UAE national regulations,connected-vehicle services must utilize local operator networks, and long-term international roaming is prohibited. In order to ensure data sovereignty,network security, and user privacy, Yoocar Technology systematically presentedits “ONE SIM” solution based on the SGP02/22/32 standards, which integrates resources from more than 20 operators across the world, enabling “one SIM with multiple profiles, unified connectivity management.” This solution empowers automakers to streamline supply chain processes and drive down operational costs by over 30%.
The two parties will cooperate in three key directions in the future:
Firstly, the two parties will jointly develop customized compliant "ONESIM" solutions, to support Chinese automakers in meeting regulatory compliance requirements across the GCC region;
Secondly, combining both sides’ platforms and service capabilities to deliver localized connected-vehicle operations service in the UAE;
Thirdly, leveraging Etisalat’s 5G SA network and Yoocar’s intelligent driving platform to advancethe development of autonomous driving infrastructure in the UAE.
An Etisalat representative stated that this partnership provides Chinese automakers withdual assurance through a “compliance pathway coupled with a technology foundation.”
